First application notes for the HANU-reactor

The first application notes demonstrating the HANU-reactor’s potential for photochemically generating kilogram amounts of product are now available on the applications page. Both application notes describe 365 nm light-mediated transformations. The first example is a classic [2+2]-photocycloaddition whereas the other one relies on a photoinitiated radical chain process.

First pilot version of the HANU-reactor installed at Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services

Creaflow has successfully installed a pilot-scale version of the HANU-reactor at the premises of Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services in Wetteren, Belgium. This unit enables the scale-up of (photo)chemical processes that were developed and optimized in the lab HANU-reactor. Full implementation of the pilot reactor in a GMP environment is foreseen in early 2019.

Launch of HANU-reactors with integrated heat exchanger

Creaflow has launched an upgraded version of the HANU-reactor featuring an integrated heat exchanger. This upgrade ensures highly efficient energy transfer in the range of -20°C to +80°C. The unit comes with an insulating, chemically resistant PTFE housing and allows superior process thermoregulation.

HANU-reactor launch at Achema 2018

The HANU-reactor, an innovative multi-purpose flow reactor will be launched at Achema 2018 at the Ecosynth booth A33, located within the Flow Chemistry Pavilion in hall 9.2. In addition, a 30 minutes oral presentation entitled "Development of a new multipurpose laboratory scale continuous flow plate reactor" by dr. ir. Wouter Debrouwer, in which the main characteristics of this reactor will be described, is scheduled on Wednesday, June 13 (17:15h) during the Flow Chemistry Symposium.
